Don’t think this is meant to be seen yet, as the site’s in full testing mode, with no content. So check it out quick before it vanishes :)

Just found this super nice travel movie about a pair of levis. in the digital flick-book style that we used for our recent Japanese adventure.
“This is a documentary film that a girl wearing denim traveled over 50 countries in two years. The denim walks freely in the world, meets people, changes and fades.”

Apparently, Hokkaido has been getting serious snow this year, even by their standards. Check it out…

Earlier in the year it dumped 50cm on New Years day, then another 50cm the day after, then 30cm on the 3rd Jan. lets hope...

A Day in The Life of Greg
Hi, my names Dan and today I spent my time living in the shoes of Mr. Greg Owen.
Today the snow was, and I quote, AMAZING! And tonight we are dining in Bourg Saint Maurice’s finest (and only) Chinese restaurant. This too will be AMAZING! Im ordering chips just to be British.
Unfortunately I did not make it up the mountain today as I have a poorly knee, but...
not quite freshies
brrrrr…..riding + freezing fog = frozen face.
-15c/-20c so cold the spray from the snow cannons was turning into snowclouds.
long ride home
The whole Les Arcs area opened up last weekend, allowing us to ride all the way back to the funi (mountain train thing) instead of having to catch a bus from Arc2000 to get home.
This means a long cruise across 1800 and down into the trees above 1600 in the late afternoon light. pretty special :)
Mini MOTO
Motocross bike for a 4year old. Thats my shoe next to it for scale. size 8.
The top bike’s just cool.
dans l'hopital!
Twice in one day. It was only a matter of time before i paid a visit to the local hospital! alas, this time twas not for me, my shoulder has stayed firmly in socket so far. My room mate Dan hurt his knee back on the 4th Dec (his first day on the hill) and it still wasn’t feeling better a week later, so we went to get it checked out. He’s now in a full leg brace, no riding for two...
Bluebird days
Clear blue skys, low temperatures and no new snow. No adventurous hiking peaks, just a whole lot of piste cruising, trying to olly onto, over and off anything that comes along.
The Pink House, my current home from home.
4 temporary residents, 2 owners with 1 baby & a 4year old (who learnt to snowboard in 4hours!), 3 dogs, 1 cat, a broken dvd player, a sky box that only works when the...
mtn transport
This is the Funicular (monorail) train thing we take up to the resort everyday. it’s kinda like the DLR, but on a 35degree slope, and goes to a much nicer place than anywhere in the Docklands area! its a pretty neat way of getting up the hill, but is slightly lacking in the comfort department.
This on the other hand, is a far more enjoyable way of going pretty much anywhere. Audi Allroad...
p-p-p-ppow!
Yesterday we where riding in rain, the freezing level was up around 2500m, and i found out my AK jacket isn’t so waterproof anymore! when we got up to the resort this morning we were greeted with 10cm+ of superlight fluffy powpow and very few people :) good times :) they’d bashed a couple of pistes, but the whole area was open for exploring. Riding with the three other guys in my...
